Funerals
Our involvement begins at your first contact and extends even beyond the day of the funeral. As soon as we are notified of the death, we will gather preliminary information and ascertain when we can arrange for the conveyance of the deceased person to our private chapel of rest. The family’s wishes are our primary concern and after immediate assistance, we establish when it will be convenient to meet and make the final arrangements.
Memorials
We provide and put in place all types of Memorials for Churchyards and Cemeteries. We have a showroom at our premises in West Malling where you are invited to see several different types of headstones, plaques and vases on display together with a comprehensive brochure available upon request or to download online. We will ensure that all necessary documentation is completed in order to place a new headstone or to arrange for cleaning and adding additional inscriptions to existing stones.
Pre-paid Funerals
A funeral plan is an easy way to arrange the funeral you want in advance. A plan allows you to specify your wishes and pay for the funeral director’s services included in your plan. As our customers often tell us, that can bring peace of mind to you and your family. A plan from Golden Charter also includes an allowance towards third party costs. These are essential, non-funeral director services such as the cremation or burial fees, plus the minister or officiant’s fee to perform the service. Viner & Sons Ltd is an appointed representative of Golden Charter Limited trading as Golden Charter Funeral Plans which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:965279).

The whole process was very easy to go through. It was not stuffy or too formal and we felt listened to and taken care of. Thanks to Nathan and his colleagues for making us feel comfortable and making the day of the funeral such a wonderful celebration that so professional which put us totally at ease. Collecting the ashes was also carried out in a relaxed but respectful way, mind you we were not expecting them to weigh so much! We always said Robin/Dad was like a sack of potatoes! Very professional organisation. The two members of staff who attended to collect my mother from her home were sympathetic and compassionate. Three family members met with Jo to discuss the arrangements. She listened to our requests and made suggestions to help us with the decisions that needed to be made. She showed appropriate humour and was empathetic to our needs. The day of the service ran like clockwork and all staff concerned showed respect and professionalism.
Our family will definitely recommend Viner's to our friends and relatives.

I can’t praise Viner & Sons highly enough for their professionalism and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Jo for being so kind, helpful and caring - nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. Special thanks also to Dan whose compassion and kindness on the day of Mum’s funeral was very comforting and greatly appreciated.

I wasn't familiar with Viner & Sons but I reached out to them and was well looked after by a beautiful soul called Lana, who I honestly can't thank enough. She truly went above & beyond for me throughout what's been the most difficult time in my life. Not only her professionalism but her compassion, empathy & understanding is & always will be deeply appreciated and I will forever be grateful to her. Viners and Sons were very good and professional with our family. My first contact was with Dan who was very prompt and kind over the phone. Then my second contact was Nathan with whom I dealt with the rest of the way. Claire the office manager was also very kind and professional in helping to organise visits prior to the funeral date. The team was very kind, very compassionate and understanding. They took care of everything we needed including finding us a Buddhist Nun to conduct the ceremony. In time of great loss and moaning, one needs a good team who knows what needs to be done. Viner and Sons were excellent.

From the moment I met with Jo and Lana I was put at ease. We had a very good conversation, the details of the cremation were agreed. They organised the video link and the order of service. I was always kept informed.
On the day of the cremation they were, humble, gracious and understanding. The whole event was well managed. I could not fault them. I would recommend Viners to anyone at this sad time in their lives
It was such a professional service provided by Viners. They were extremely helpful and listened to everything that we wanted. We didn’t feel pressured into anything we didn’t want. On the funeral day they took care of everything so we didn’t even have to worry. Thank you so much!!
